   Hey hey! Here we go!

  1.  Transfers are next week! No news about who's staying or going yet, but we should know soon.. I am terrified! So much is happening in our area right now! I really don't want to leave! I feel like that is why I am going to leave though.. oh well... trust and obey and it will all be okay, I guess. :)
  2. We have met several times with the Atanoa family this week, and they seem more and more excited every time we talk to them! They're the best! Tau has been keeping his commitments, so we are going to move his baptismal date closer. They are all so ready! I am very excited for them.
  3. Kim wasn't feeling too good this week, but she came to church on Sunday and gave a beautiful testimony! She is an inspiration. I wish you could all meet her, so that she could bless your lives just like she has blessed mine! She is going to do amazing things.
  4. We had dinner with the Choi family, and they were as cute as ever! Their son Joey gets home in a few days, so they were just beaming the whole night, especially Sister Choi. :) I am excited to meet him. I've heard such great things!
  5. The Lloyds and the Coons moved this week. They are some amazing members who did so much for the ward! I am going to miss them a TON, but I know that they will do great things wherever they are.
  6. There is a family in the ward who is struggling a lot right now.. They have been in and out of homes, and they are battling a court case right now. It has made me so sad. I try not to let it bring me down too much, because I know that I still have work to do, but it is so hard for me to see. I care a lot about the families here, so it breaks my heart to see them in pain. I know that Heavenly Father loves them even more than I do though, so I know that He will take care of them.
Well, that is all I have time for this week, but I will try to make sure that I have more to add next week! I love you all! Thank you for your love and your prayers! Keep doing all that you can to come closer to the Savior!

Yvonne and Kimberly

Aloha!! So, I'm going to have to keep this short, but I just have so much to say!!! Here we go:

  1. WE HAD A BAPTISM!!!! Kim was baptized on Saturday and it was BeAuTiFuL!!!! The spirit was so So strong and she was glowing the whole night!!! Then, Elder Greene was asked to do the confirmation the next day, and it was beautiful as well. Overall, I just about died because of the amount of spirituality that was happening! It was so great!
  2. Tau and his family are soooo cute!!! We went to see the Atanoa family after church and they could stop smiling and talking about the temple and how they want to be sealed... seriously... So Cute!!!
  3. WE have been able to see a lot of families that we haven't been able to before. They aren't super solid yet, but it's coming. :)
  4. Zone Conference was on Tuesday and it was GREAT. President Warner and the APs gave an awesome training about the Sabbath-day and having the Holy Ghost with us. I am so excited to see the miracles that come as we apply the things that we have learned!
We have been so blessed, and I know that it is because we have been striving to be more obedient. We still have so much more that we need to improve on, but as we do, I know that the miracles and blessings will continue to come!! I love you so much! Keep up with the spiritual CPR (church, pray, read)! Until next week, Much Aloha,

Thank you Sis. Barber & Sis. Blackner for teaching Kimberly and being a special part of her (10/17/15) baptismal program. You both are truly amazing and faithful missionaries. I will always remember your strong testimonies of our Savior, Jesus Christ. You represent Him well. Love you sisters,-Yvonne Kauihou (EB2ndWard)

Aloha Nui Loa!

Well hello there!! This week was super crazy!! So wonderful though! Here's why:

  1. I finished the Book of Mormon again, so I get to start over again!!! Okay.. maybe that's not super crazy, but it is exciting for me! ;)
  2. We met with Tau and his family again on Thursday, and he committed to baptism! He also wants his kids to be baptized! I will not be here for their baptism, but I am so so excited for them! They are so ready!
  3. We were introduced to a woman named Janell by a less-active member. She has two kids and they are soo cute. She didn't actually seem to interested when we were talking to her, but we invited her to come to church anyways. She said that she would.
  4. Kim had her baptismal interview. Elder Greene, our district leader interviewed her. He is super cool and this is actually his last transfer before he goes home. So, we had him interview her. She was super nervous, but he made it better for her. She was very happy and excited when she found out she had "passed." :)
  5. We had a district flood, and we were able to get some new names to visit! Also, some of the people we have been trying to work on for a while now were finally available, so it worked out in a lot of ways!
  6. There is a family that I have visited just about every week since I have been here. It is actually just the mom, the oldest son and the dad. The dad has a lot of health issues, so that is why Vili, the son, is living with them. Well, Vili is amazing. He is such a cool guy! The only thing is that he has a problem with getting to church, because he is addicted to Kawa. So, we have been working with him. It has been getting so much better! He has come to church more often, and he wants to work towards getting his temple endowments and his patriarchal blessing with his mom. I think that it will be really good for them to have a goal to work towards.
  7. Our car got towed.... yeah.. we parked in visitors parking for a couple of hours, because we were finishing our studying after district meeting, and they towed our car... So, we are going to be short 20 dollars each month, until we get it payed off...
  8. We went to a quincenera!!! One of the YW in our ward was having a quincenera, and we have been doing service for it every week, so President Warner said we could go. It was really awesome!
  9. So many people came to church!! Janell came! Kim came and she brought her daughter Reese! Tau and his whole family came! It was so awesome!!
  10. We had dinner at the Choi's house. They're so much fun! We always enjoy having dinner and spending time with them. :)
Something that I learned this week is that as we are obedient and we live the gospel of Jesus Christ, we will find greater happiness in life than we can ever imagine, and we can inspire others to do the same. I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week!!

Hello!! So sorry! This is going to have to be a short email this week, but I will for sure try to write more next week! This week was nuts! We were so busy! Here are some of the highlights:

  1. We have 3 new investigators!! They are pretty solid, but we are going to have to see where they go.
  2. An Elder in the mission got TB, so we all had to get tested.. I don't have it, so that's good, but there were about 5 other missionaries that tested positive. Not fun. :(
  3. Conference!!! Loved all of the talks!!  Something that I learned from conference, that I absolutely love, came from the talk that Elder Clark gave. :) I loved when he said, "We do not have to be PERFECT, but we need to be good at getting better." That's something that brought a lot of comfort to me. The atonement, if used actively and correctly in our lives, is the key to helping us be "good at getting better." I definitely am going to be thinking about the atonement differently from now on.
  4. Kim's baptism is next week!!! She's so excited!!! I'll try to get a picture to you, so you can see what she looks like!
Love you all! Sorry again for how short this is!!
